In Focus JOyS OF FlIGhT Tibetan students test-fly model airplanes in front of the world-famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Boeing China recently expanded its successful science and aerospace education program “Soaring with your Dream” to Tibetan students; more than 20 Tibetan elementary and middle schools are participating. Since the Boeing program started in 2009, more than 45,000 elementary school students have attended the aviation and science courses and experienced designing, building and flying a model aircraft from scratch.
