Lean production, start to finish

When the U.S. Army, a Boeing customer, asked the company to not only meet the Army's rapidly increasing production requirements but also minimize building and equipment costs, the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile team went to work. Applying Lean+, the team cut costs, increased production and, most important, helped position Boeing for more work.
