SNAPSHOT Custom delivery Boeing delivered the first C-17 Globemaster III for the Kuwait Air Force last month from Long Beach, Calif., where the huge military aircraft is assembled. The airlifter, pictured here on its first test flight, features a custom paint design that distinguishes the Kuwait C-17 from the 259 others that have been delivered to customers including the U.S. Air Force. “When this C-17 arrives to deliver humanitarian aid or disaster relief anywhere in the world, people in need will know that the aid came from Kuwait,” explained Col.
