ST. LOUIS, Dec. 17, 2002 -- The Boeing Delta IV rocket booster that will launch the first Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle mission for the U.S. Air Force was erected on the launch pad today.

With the first stage integrated to the second stage and launch mate unit, the Delta IV was transported from the Horizontal Integration Facility at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. to the fixed pad erector at Space Launch Complex 37B.
