Boeing Executives Not On Board Secretary Brown Trade Mission Aircraft Seattle, April 3, 1996 -- In response to media inquiries regarding the reported loss of an airplane carrying U.S. Commerce Secretary Ron Brown on a trade mission in Croatia, The Boeing Company said that no Boeing executives were on board the airplane. Ron Woodard, president of the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, is in Seattle and had been intending to depart Wednesday afternoon to join the mission.
