The Skyhawk featured great altitude and range capabilities, plus an unusual flexibility in armament capacity. Model 367-80 Dash 80 The Boenig Model 367-80—the Dash 80—is the prototype for the KC-135 Stratotanker, the world’s first successful jet tanker and transport, and the Boeing 707, the world’s first successful commercial jet.
