Plastic foam dining materials have been eliminated from Boeing cafeterias in the United States. At some cafés, employees are asked to toss compostable items into special compost containers. The volume of trash generated at many cafeterias has dramatically decreased. It’s all part of Boeing’s food service facilities to be more environmentally responsible -- with the help of employees.
