Dream flight

As part of a new Boeing ad campaign for the 787 Dreamliner, a film crew transformed the warehouse at Boeing’s Customer Experience Center in Renton, Wash., into a studio to photograph and shoot video of a 787 interior mock-up.

These gates are part of a companywide process created to make it easier to manage product development across the business units and to ensure the right decisions are made during every step.

Boeing has decades of experience using checklists to prevent mistakes, and that knowledge is helping many critical professions. Some hospitals, for example, use checklists in the operating room.
