Whether it was the B-17 or the DC-3, the Saturn rocket or the 747, Boeing and its heritage companies created a portfolio of legendary products -- none of which would have been possible without great engineers, icons such as Lee Atwood, Ed Wells, Joe Sutter and many others. Seeking to revitalize the critical importance of senior engineering leadership, Boeing recently created nine new senior engineering leadership positions around the company.
