From Earth to the moon

North American Aviation, now part of Boeing, left a lasting legacy of aerospace achievements, including the P-51 Mustang, the F-86 Sabre Jet, the B-25 bomber, the X-15 rocket plane and the Apollo spacecraft that carried astronauts on history’s greatest voyage -- to the moon and back. The year 2010 marks the 75th anniversary of the incorporation of North American Aviation.

Boeing has tens of thousands of machines that are vital to its production systems and when these machines break down, it’s up to skilled workers to get them up and running again, and quickly. Many of these employees have received their training at Craft College, a successful and comprehensive Boeing program based in Auburn, Wash.
