A Boeing team recently visited a part of Indonesia that was affected by a devastating tsunami in 2004. The delegation’s mission: To see how contributions from Boeing and its employees and retirees are helping people recover from this tragic event.

Among the members of this team was Bob Seipel, a program manager for Boeing Space & Intelligence Systems Mission Systems. During this trip, Seipel provided daily reports on what team members saw, heard and felt. These accounts appeared on Boeing News Now, the Boeing news page on the company’s intranet.
