Boeing is the world's leading aerospace company and the largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft combined.
In 1916 we started building planes in an old red boathouse in Seattle. Today we’re the leading aerospace company in the world, with two distinct business units: Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Defense, Space & Security, plus several support units and offices around the globe — and we have no plans to slow down.
Below, you’ll find a list of the various business units and support groups that compose Boeing, while the rest of this section outlines our Programs and Locations and highlights individual success stories.
