At Boeing, we aim to be a facilitator of community change, not simply a source of community funding. The energy and creativity we inspire in our community partners is more meaningful to us than the size of our check.
Our strategy for community benefit is to apply our unique core competencies to contribute toward sustainable, measurable growth and self-sufficiency for the organizations we partner with--growth that will continue long after the last Boeing dollar is spent.
We look for partnerships with organizations that are leaders in what they do (no matter their size), that promote diversity and demonstrate innovation, and align and collaborate with others toward common, workable solutions to long-term community issues.
Through corporate giving, we support projects and programs that align with one or more of five focus areas and corresponding objectives (Note: Grants made by the Employees Community Fund do not have to align to the focus area objectives).
The focus areas for corporate giving are: education (consisting of early learning and primary and secondary education); arts and culture; health and human services; civic; and environment. Please note: It's important to check local corporate grant-making guidelines before you submit a grant request to see how our individual sites tailor these objectives to address the particular needs of their communities.
The same is true for the Employees Community Fund; individual boards and committees may tailor their grant-making according to local community needs and the interests of local members. Check here for local ECF grant-making guidelines.
Thank you for your interest in Boeing Global Corporate Citizenship. If you have any questions, please contact the Global Corporate Citizenship representative nearest the location of your organization.
