Conrad Chun is vice president of Communications for Boeing Global Services. This function provides communication support to the Government Services and Commercial Services businesses and the Supply Chain, Digital Aviation & Analytics, Training & Professional Services, and Engineering, Modification & Maintenance capabilities across Boeing Global Services. Chun is responsible for the development and implementation of the function’s strategy and all communication activities including internal, external, government and customer relations.

Concurrent to his role as vice president of Communications for Global Services, Chun serves as director of Communications for Global Services & Support (GS&S) and is responsible for all aspects of communication efforts, including external, internal and marketing communications. Conrad will continue to serve in this role until stand up of Global Services in July 2017.

Prior to this, Chun served as the director of Communications for Boeing Military Aircraft, where his responsibilities included leading the development, coordination and implementation of the communications strategy and plans for the entire business unit.

Chun joined The Boeing Company in 2010 after retiring from the U.S. Navy as a captain with 24 years of service. Throughout his distinguished military career, he has held a series of high-profile communications positions, garnering experience in crisis communications, media relations, legislative affairs and strategic planning. Chun was special assistant for public affairs to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). In this role, he was the sole communications advisor to the CNO, providing strategic counsel on a vast portfolio of operational, budgetary and international issues and programs.

Chun is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in information systems from the Naval Postgraduate School.  Chun currently serves on the board of directors for Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN), a nonprofit organization that focuses on employment-readiness training programs, job-placement solutions and no-cost services for military-affiliated spouses, retired military spouses and caregivers to war-wounded veterans and personnel.
