My Boeing story began as an intern at the Boeing Philadelphia site's production line. While this may not be unique for engineering interns, I was the only business intern who had the opportunity to do it. The experience spurred a passion for defense products and love of the Boeing brand, so much so that I came back full time into the Business Career Foundation Program.
For two years, I rotated through different business units, products and even locations while I figured out that I had a passion for working with students. One highlight included a trip to Northeast Asia with our sales team to meet the customer I had been supporting and help run a symposium for airlines that did not yet have Boeing products. I exited the program as a college recruiter and packed up my bags in Pennsylvania for a big move across the country -- to sunny California.
Here, I'm loving what I do: I get to brag about how awesome Boeing is to students all day long and try to get them to join us for our second centennial of success. What could be better?
