Overview
Network and Tactical Systems (N&TS), a division of the Network and Space Systems business within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), leverages the power of integrated networks and tactical systems to "connect and protect" U.S. and allied soldiers, sailors and airmen. Headquartered in Huntington Beach, Calif., N&TS employs nearly 3800 employees in 30 states and international locations. The division is dedicated to designing and implementing integrated air, sea and ground-based networks and tactical systems that fundamentally change how warfighters perform their missions.
With its command, control and communications capabilities, as well as enabling technologies such as the System of Systems Common Operating Environment (SOSCOE) and Advanced Collaborative Environment (ACE), the division is a leader in Boeing's efforts to create the integrated battlespace, a network-centric system of assets operating within a common architecture to enable seamless sharing of information. N&TS is also contributing its core capabilities to help BDS expand into new markets, such as energy and other commercial/civil areas that can benefit from network-enabled systems.
